Just registered as i have recently acquired a Verlicchi framed Pantah.
I picked it up in Sydney and rode it back up to Queensland.

I soon found the seat was excruciating after 10 minutes riding.
The seat is from a 916 with a couple of inches removed down the centre line.
It has been executed extremely well but it is oh so uncomfortable.
So I am in the process of replacing the seat with one from a 900SS which I had in the shed from my stalled bevel project.

I am thinking I may also put a 900SS bikini fairing on it (from the same stalled project!)

Hopefully one day I will have the time and $'s to install a full TT fairing/seat combo.

I don't have any info on the bike's history other than it was a personal import (I think from NZ) in Aug 1998 as an Allazurra. It was registered in Sydney as a SL650 Pantah but advertised as a 750F1.
I have no idea yet what is inside the motor but it has Keihin fcr39 carbs with 40mm Dellorto's and ported manifolds in the box of spares so I guess it was raced as some stage.
The front end is RGV250 with what appears custom triple clamps and both wheels are also from an RGV250.

I currently have a farm about 2 hours north of Brisbane an so have very little time to play with my new toy.
My aim is to retire in a year or two so that I can resurrect my bikes (860 bevel, Le Mans II, Pantah 680 and a 996) and hopefully down size to this one which has my dream since watching Kevin McGee punt one around Bathurst.

Nice bike, seems to have had several upgrades with more modern parts.

The new seat better befits this bike.
Good luck with your projects.
