Just became the happy owner of a 750F1. It's very rare that one comes up for sale here, most owners seem to cling on a long time to these bikes.
According the data of our traffic ministry, there are 35 Ducati F1 registered in Holland.

I've purchased it at a Ducati dealer who gave it a big full service (bike was hardly used the last 10 years).
Had new Avon tires mounted.
I'm the 2nd owner. First owner was a lady who traded in her Ducati 600TL according the purchase invoice.

First registration was in Februari 1990, so it was quite old stock by that time. The sales price was far below the list price,
confirming by that time these were hard to sell bikes.
It must be the F1S type. With the bike came the 2-in-2 exhaust system, bi-posto seat and several new spare parts.
Mounted is a single-posto seat and a VERY loud 2-in-1 open Bos exhaust. Considering to change this, to avoid neighbour complaints.

Probably the lower fairing parts are not original for a F1S type, but it looks good.
Interestingly the mono-posto tail has a Marco Lucchinelli signature on it, which is under the clear paint. Anyone seen this before on a F1?

Hi Ducalf,

Welcome aboard :-) Very nice machine. Is this Coralien's ex bike? Where are your whereabouts in NL, I live in Amersfoort and own a Santa Monica.

Regards, Ron

Ron,
Indeed it has been here bike.
I'm living in province Limburg of NL. Hope to see your bike some time.

I wanted to register the bike on the Ducati site. However the VIN code -which I'm sure it's correct- is rejected.
Do some of you have the same problem? I'll sent an e-mail to the customer service.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,

Great the bike found a new home. The autograph is probably from Coralien's connections with the factory back in the day when she worked at Safe Rotterdam. There is more to tell about those days an maybe she did tell you about it. I did not register my bike at the Ducati site but my bike is in the family since new :-)

I added a picture, will race it in Assen at the DCR.

Regards, Ron

Ron,

Nice Santa Monica!

I did not meet her in person unfortunately.
Affetto Ducati sold me the bike.

We -my girlfriend and I- are also planning to visit DCR, so for sure see you there!

Got some parts today from our Ducati dealer Affetto Ducati.
The previous owner of my bike fortunately has discovered these again.

Original air filters, though the filtering material is disintegrating. Anyhow nice to have.
The duo seat, a new front screen, rear mud guard.

The rear mud gard is brand new, it has never been mounted.
Does anyone know, is this an identical item for the mono and due-seat versions?

So I'm happy these parts popped up. Only missing the user manual, but might also be found.

Hi Ducalf,

The seatbase is for a double seat, the plastic I think is equall to both single and dual seat F1's. I think your F1 started as one of the US specs F1's that Safe/DNL brought to the Netherlands in those days. Those filters are sometimes good for roaduse, last ride last year I got a airchannel stuck due to riding with open carbs....

Best regards, Ron
