Hi Mike Thanks for that the guy who writes that blog is a friend of mine and I only found it a couple of days ago myself and wasn't even sure where he got some of the pics he used but I have since tracked them down. we took the bike up to QLD for the Laverda club show and shine and got second in the completion class beaten by a 1919 Indan board racer that was professionally restored in the USA and cost a motsa! so I believe no disgrace there? Also the bike found a Dyno whilst in QLD and am very satisfied with the results 75.2HP from a very reliable motor that didn't give any problems at all and run on bowser fuel? Sorry for the delay in replying but I haven't checked in in a while work has gone mad but shall be at concourse d'elegance in Sydney soon and then going to Broadford in Easter next year for a ride. So thanks for your input hope to catch up soon Regards Alan |

Else the Indian was pretty special. I will track you down at the concourse d'elegance in Sydney, I will be there with the Monty. Cheers, MikeA |

well the Indian was nice but if you really wanted to be picky it did have stainless steel spokes which I suspect were not an original fitment but that was all I could see but the judging criteria was not so technical so I was runner up but they did have a hard time choosing there was much back and forthing between the two bikes so it was a near thing??? I will look forward to catching up in Sydney C U soon !! |
