Seller's comments:
Offering for sale a one owner low mileage example of the Ducati 750 F1 the year is 1986. This bike was originally sold from
Duc Pond Motorsports in Winchester VA. It's always been kept in ideal garage conditions and used sparingly over the last 27 years. The Ducati 750cc Pantah based engine emerged in the 1980s to much acclaim regarding performance and modern design.

As soon as manufacturing of the new Pantah engine commenced the factory began a rigorous testing and development program. The results are in the record books. From the beginning it was clear that the new Pantah based engines could be raced with reliability that the older bevel drive twins could only dream about. The newest 750 engine reflected all of this with new important design changes and modern materials . The engine was mounted in a chassis that was light and strong. The brakes and suspension combined to make a motorcycle that almost disappeared underneath you when sitting behind the handlebars.

Up grades on the bike include the Brembo gold callipers and an open racing exhaust system.

Included in the sale are the extra Marvic wheels in modern 17" sizes and an Ohlins shock too. It's in excellent working order. The shock was recently tested : no leaks or damages and set with correct gas pressure by an Ohlins service center. The Verlicchi alloy swing arm is a nice add on.

The stock center stand and stock front brake callipers along with the stock muffler are all part of the sale . The countershaft sprocket cover is something extra and the engine crankshaft turning tool makes for easier service .

In 2012 this motorcycle was serviced throughout. All valve clearances are spot on. Timing belts are new.

The tires are new Avon Road Runners. The battery of course is new.

The carburettors have been cleaned and renewed with new brass and rubber parts including new accelerator pump parts. The pump discharge has been set correctly. The gas tank is clean the fuel lines and petcock valves are new. The hydraulic brake. callipers were cleaned inside re assembled no sticking or odd feeling .The master cylinders were completely field stripped and renewed using new pistons and seals . The brake pads are new.

In summary this motorcycle has been kept and maintained to a high standard. It is a rare opportunity to buy one like this with low miles in ready rideable condition.

It doesn't have any old parts left to question even the oil cooler rubber bands have been replaced! This bike can be delivered to a shipper if need be. It can be delivered between Boston and Washington DC for an agreed fee.

Call to make an appointment to view or send a representative to verify and inspect up close.

It looks like this one is still up for grabs! She had 13 potential buyers and 43 bids. If you are the owner I am sure you are welcome to post your contact details here and negotiate a sale. Though I would ask that you post the final sale price ;)
