Is this you Steve??? It almost looks like there is some big round thing on the back of your bike - or has it been Photoshopped?

Yes that’s Steve Asplands F1 race bike. Originally purchased and built by Miller in CT and later tuned to a championship winning level by Bruce at BCM. Steve was a front runner both in LRRS and select AMA twins classes through the late 80s and early 90s. He’d reacquired the bike a few years back and with some nudging from us has got it ready for this coming weekend’s events. Nicely done Steve!

This bike (and rider) was fast back in the day and probably still is. Hope to see it run again soon, Steve.
