That jet looks like a MIG knockoff.

Yes, there is a lot of effort into the bike, and master welders as well as air force mechanics involved.
The fasteners for the left side engine cover (which is home made by the way) are titanium and comes from a huge surplus spare parts stock for the 1950:s Swedish jet fighter Saab J29 ”Tunnan” (=barrel).

File comment: In 2000 and 2001 we had a team in the national Supersports championship that was run together with STCC, the touring car championship. That was the highest profile roadracing class we have ever had here. Stefan Folkesson was the rider. I look like a true team owner (didnt own anything though...) glancing from the sideline.
