Hi Cal, Sonny Angel made quite a few fiberglass pieces. I heard Airtech bought all his old moulds. I have that backbone frame! I bought it from a guy who bought all of what was left of the Sonny Angel inventory. I also was able to get a TT frame and pantah motor from Sonny's parts. Here is a picture of the two frames, and motor. Lou

Hi Clay, I think they built two frames as I have seen pictures of another. I would love to know more about them. I will build it eventually as a tribute to Sonny. From all I've heard he was a real enthusiast. It would be nice to finish what he started. No, I don't 'have everything', just a bunch of stuff, that for a long time, nobody wanted. Remember, the price for buying all those parts means I live like Ratso Rizzo! Broke! Lou

Mr Angel probably had a good idea but it was (is) ugly. Lou, you might be broke ($) but you are very wealthy having all those wonderful machines and parts. !! And the world is a better place due to your hindsight collecting all those special pieces. Thank you! Graeme |
