How about Swedish models for that last 30 years or so? Before the UN outlaws such things. Attachment:

IIRC : in the basement of GioCaMoto's farm at the Via Bruschetti, we saw the Black-Ice-Pantah, between some pre-war Alfa parts and a pile of parallel stuff. Wonder where that one went ? Never saw any in action, think they were only used at the Trophee d'Androz. ciao ducadini as for the other swedish models : talking about a money pit

Thanks for the appreciation Mike! More short stories to come... But how did you find a photo of my secratary? That is truly amazing! Joke apart, funny that traffic boosts when a photo of a beautiful woman is in the thread! Ice racing! That is really cool, not many dares that. I have seen the ice racing Pantah in the museum in Bologna, but not at GioCaMoto. I was there in 1986 or maybe 1987 (it was a meeting for Battle of the Twins organisers in Europe in Milan if I remember correct). Me and the Norwegian importer Bue passed Bologna and visits Casolari, it must have been the same old farm! Wouldnt like to be there in the dark... Some of my roadracing pals does this in wintertime: www.iceroadracing.com. It is huge in Finland, Mika Kallio has had the GP elite on camp but nobody can keep the pace of the experienced Finns! /Björn

And speaking of Finns:
Next bike is a Harris 750 built and raced by Timo Merentie in BoTT in the end of the 80:s and beginning of the 90:s. The first picture is taken in 1988 when it still has standard 18 inch Pantah wheel. They were then replaced by 17 inch Tecnomagnesios. The engine was also tuned more and Timo was early with 92mm pistons and iron sleeved cylinders, before the 900 engine existed. It was fast and Timo was a pretty aggressive rider who then took up golf (he brought the clubs with him to the races and visited golf courses close to the race tracks after the race weekends). Timo lost half a finger on his right hand in the belt when trying to close the choke on the front carburettor. I have no idea what became of the bike.
/Björn
