Just thought I would share a wonderful gift that was given to me today. Many years ago a friend of mine, Jane, was nice enough to help me come up with a name and logo for my shop in NY. We called it TTnyc and she did the artwork for the logo using the stick lettering we all love. We thought it looked good, but we needed an animal as a mascot. NCR had the dog/coyote, Giocamoto had the duck, I figured NYC should have a rat, a roach, or a pigeon! Jane decided the rat was the way to go. Years have passed and Jane presented me with this beautiful illustration today. The world premier of Luigi the rat. As you can see I was used as the model! She is a very talented artist, wicked fast on a racing motorcycle, wheeled and welded her own aluminum tank for her 900 SS racer and can build a motor from the crank up. Yes, put in her own valve seats and guides. She is one of my best friends. The illustration is of my TT1 in front of my NYC shop. This is just a quick picture with my phone of it in the frame. Thanks Jane,I love you, it's amazing. Hope you folks like it. Lou

Nice one Jane! Is that Luigi's tuner behind that big block of cheddar at the door?

That's funny Bill! That is one of the concrete blocks at the entrance to the shop, it does look like cheese! Lou

Is "TTnyc" going up on the wall like that? Very cool. Tell Jane I'm still kinda partial to JamaicamenuTTy though.

Very brave as a mechanic is the artist, Lou.

It looks like the rat wants to procreate with your TT. Soon you will have a bunch of mini-bikes running around the shop.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! Yes I am lucky Paul, Jane is a professional illustrator with an impressive resumé. Yes 750TT I forgot the accent mark! We figured this could be the American cousin of team 'Speedy Gonzalez'. I wish I could put TTnyc on the wall Bill, but I don't think my boss would appreciate it. He is amazingly nice letting me keep all my bikes and parts in the shop. Again I am fortunate, and trust me, I don't take any of it for granted! Lou
