What a neat lineup of bikes you will have, and what a great group of people will be there, Lou! The more I read this, and as the weekend gets closer, the more my disappointment grows at not being there. The best to all. MikeV

Hi Mike, yes, it is disapointing that you will not be at the symposium, you replicated history with you very fine replica of the " No 8 "Mike, and I for one will not forget that. There are things that you do and build in your life that you never forget, TR's 81 TT and world championship winning F2 Pantah was one of those, and when I saw your replica of " No 8" so expertly engineered and put together at Barbers last October I had a lump in my throat. Thank you for building that Mike. The original 81 Pantah no longer exists, but your replica will I have no doubt last for many years to come and remind future "TT" buffs of what started it all.
Thank you Mike and I hope to meet you, and indeed "No 8" again one day, you will be sorely missed. We will I am sure find a bar and toast you.
Pat.

Just a couple more days and I will be seeing some great bikes and some old friends, and hear some great sounds. Warren

pantah_good wrote: Yeah, really Steve, you don't do your own? Dunlop, Michelin, Pirelli, Street and Comp., and maybe more will be there vending tires, and maybe even some tyres. Bill Nah, I'm too old for that - plus I'll still have to mount a windscreen and make rear fairing brackets at the track without a vice or drill-press.. Are the vendors there open to mounting tires if you bring yer own? Did the dyno session today - and the numbers were excellent. 750 with 12.5:1, converted Ally heads and NCR #7s for 86rwhp and 54ftlbs. With the Weber TT1 system, that' s 54ftlbs at 5400RPM. Amazing. The first dyno run (with the table-top torque curve) is the Weber TT1 system - the second one is with our open stainless NCR replica. Film and sound at http://youtu.be/-mt_-oKAIMsA big thank you to the Ducati TT & F1 Call Center (Palmer & Cranky) and JPrecsion. Now I'm psych'd.

Sunday make sure to be at the event by 10 am. With a donation to a brain injury benefit (probably for me?) run by a local rider you can take 3 “touring” laps of the course (Just helmet required) . We hope to stage a TT/F1 parade and make some noise! -Cranky-

Steve,
Congratulations on the dyno runs. Looks like you got a sweet motor. Are the blue lines the air/fuel curves?
