Peter Williams has sadly passed away. He was a talented rider and created some beautiful machines in his lifetime. I was lucky enough to meet him at a motorcycle show at the Javits Center in NYC. He was friendly and approachable and was signing posters of one of his Norton creations. Just another reminder that time is passing us quickly. RIP Peter. Lou

Read about him many times Lou, so know something of him. I think he was one of the first to use "mag" wheels on a race bike. But the list of his other efforts is big. MikeV

in life you reach goals, and these goals leave a mark, we recently lost Paolo Rossi, world champion in the 80s and also the coach of the Italian national football team Enzo Bearzot, winner of the 1982 football world cup, I struck his response to an interview that was done many years ago, he was asked, Enzo Bearzot, if he would be happier, if his person was remembered as a great player of Torino, or for having won the 1982 World Cup?

And he with a pipe in his mouth and a half smile ... he replied ..... I hope that people remember me, because I was a good person.
Rest in peace Rider.

Carlo.

Well Carlo, that is something for all of us to aspire to be. A wonderful sentiment for Christmas eve. Be safe, healthy and happy to all my friends on The Forum. Merry Christmas, and happiness for whatever holiday you celebrate. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year! Best Regards, Lou
