Calling all TT and F1 Race bikes (and big Pantah’s as well)
AHRMA (the national classic organization in the US) introduce a new class for 2019 intended for Light weight Superbikes of the 1980s.
Unfortunately for us they specifically excluded our beloved TT and F1s ...even in 650cc form.
In protest we intend to take over a prominent spot in the paddock to display at least 10 bikes to show the world...(OK maybe just the race origination) what they excluded.
If you have a racing TT or F1 please join the protest. The big guns will be there... that being Lou and Reno to lead the charge.

Place- https://njmp.com/ Thunderbolt course
When- May 25-26 2019 We will set up that Friday evening (24th)

I am confused again. Thought the 650cc Pantah and 600cc TT2 were in the new Lightweight class, and both allowed a 2mm bore increase?

Ofield did one of those bike details and history on the TT2 last month, and the damned 75HP showed up again! Doomed.

Got it; you did mean the bikes starting out with 750cc. That lineup might frighten them, and make things worse.

Have fun,
MikeV

PS: Did I pass Carlo?

Hay Mike We back east all have 650 or 750 motors in our TTs. That's illegal in the new class.
End result there still is no class for our beloved bikes with AHRMA!
There already existed a class for the pantahs in vintage superbike.
Original rules which we had been proposing for the last 3 years was mostly adopted.
The exception was the motor capacity for our bikes. Published folklore indicated our 750s make 95-100 HP.
I just don't know what dyno?
Our bikes look good on static display but they look even better displayed "at speed"!

Strange rules and regs.Reminded me when my son was protested for winning a 750cc race,{we had the wrong size wheels,17 instead of 18},only the bike that was then promoted to the win was 918cc Trident!! Guess the organisers must have had a problem with Italian bikes?

even in Italy, at the bar, in front of a mug of beer, the power of the engines increases considerably, and if the mugs of beer are double .... then the power will never end!

I once read in a motorcycle magazine that Italian horses were smaller than most? So 100 Italian horses were equal to 75 US horses. True Carlo?

I meant since you cannot be passed on the track that maybe I could pass you on the number of postings here! So far you are still tops.

MikeV

So how did it go Cranky?
