Thanks for the coverage Cal. How many vintage bikes were there?

And thanks for the photo of you on the Beemer Bill. Hoping you can get in some more rides.

Hi Mike, At the races, I am only guessing, but I would say more than a 100 bikes, there must have been at least 15 CB160's in the one class, and they do the old grand prix start/run to the bike........

Nice on the track day photo!!! and I love that helmet too!!

Not a bad turnout for a start. Maybe some more old Ducatis can make it next year; maybe I could talk Gary Patton into it. Would like to see you bike there.

Photo: that could be you.

Thanks,
MikeV

Looks like my F1 is eligible! Maybe I can round up Gary Patton and Geoff Baker to take their F1s too. Come on Cal, give it some thought.

Thanks Bill.

I am hoping to make one of those. The one we just missed was the best shot for decent weather. The next one is in August, the worst time of the year in the desert, be over 100 degrees. I think they do this time because there is an Ahrma race in Utah a few weeks later. They try to get the west coast guyz to come test and tune and I imagine the track is available and cheap to rent. But the August runs the big track one day the small track the next, thats a "cool" idea.

Yes, August, Yikes! We live in Oregon, and reach for the ac dial in the car once it gets to 80 or so. November maybe.
