You "Desert Rat" Its one of heck of a place, jekyll & hyde kind of place. But usually too hot, too cold or too windy......but nothing like it on a perfect day. I have been to the track many times but never raced on it.

I hope 2018 works out and they can keep it going. There are so few of these kinds of events here, at least on the left coast. The vintage bike show at a car museum in Tacoma, Washington, called “The Event”, only latest three years and then folded. Yet, the Barber vintage weekend gets bigger every year. MikeV

I've only been there twice as crew when we were racing AHRMA, and never been out on the track  , but absolutely loved the whole place. A track day there on my own bike - that's what I think about when donating to the lottery.

Yeah....there doesn't seem to be a lot of events...or even TT/F1 guyz on the west coast.

I was really trying to figure out why they would do a 1 day event on Friday, that didn't seem like good planning to me.

PG: Did you mean there is a lottery for us to take out one of your bikes? Where do I pay? MikeV

Tell you what Mike, if I make it out there for a track day with my Norton, I'll be in such a good mood and so friggin happy I'll even let you take it out for a lap or two - for free!
