Hi All, I wasn't sure if this was a good spot to post this, but I thought the responses might be of interest to others too. It looks like I have to go on a work trip from US to Melbourne Australia. Be there from about August to near the end of the year. I would love to catch some races and vintage bike type of events, might want to rent a bike to do some riding too (since I will be there quite a long time). Beyond the type of stuff we like here, maybe some long track motorcycle speedway, some British stuff, sidecar events, what do you call a swap meet in Australia? Any and all tips are appreciated..... Hi Cal, a quick check of swap meets in Australia would be your best bet. Wangaratta,Bendigo to name a few. It's a shame you are not here late January for the island classic. Boucher |

I am guessing my timing will stink and I will miss the Island Classic.....I actually just arrived in Melbourne yesterday. I am having a little trouble driving these cars with steering wheels on the right and driving in the left hand lane. |
