Great news. Met Paul Phillips today, who's the guy charged with making the TT and Classic TT great events. The TT2&1 symposium at the Classic TT 2017 is go! August bank holiday weekend (last weekend in August). We get a big tent at the top of the paddock. Parade laps either vmcc so need to be road registered and insured or racing parade when rider will need a competition licence. Accommodation and transport to the Island is always oversubscribed so let's get organised. And for 2018 the plan is to have a similar event with 40 Mike Hailwood Replicas to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mike's F1 win in 1978. So if you want to get involved (especially if you have a TT1 or 2, or MHR) pm me or email greg@teambenzina.co.uk

Hope this answers some questions.

Cheers, Ron

A Ducati TT symposium will be held during the 2017 Isle of Man Classic TT, 25th....28th August 2017. More information can be had from Greg Pullen greg@teambenzina.co.uk
or the facebook group Ducati and the TT. OR from me at pat.slinn@btinternet.co.uk

The symposium will be celebrating among other things the 35th anniversary of Tony Rutters first F2 win in the IOM on a Ducati F2 Pantah.

Wow, what a fantastic week I had at the Classic TT on the Isle of Man.
Met some great people and saw some beautiful Ducatis. Thank you for the many lovely comments I had on my bike. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't match up with the standard of bike that appear on this site, but even though most of mine is standard Pantah road bike gear, people said some nice things about it.
Got out in the parade lap, so got to do my first closed roads lap ever, what an experience. She ran really well. I'm still buzzing.
Thanks everybody.
Paul

A closed circuit lap of the Isle on a TT tops my dream ride list. Nice bike.

Who is the man standing behind your bike? Every time I see him he is looking under the tank of a bike. I think he is a spy for Honda. MikeV
