Today, I received my copy of this new book published by The Crowood Press. It came from the printer during the first weeks of 2015. It aim at telling us the complete story from Pantah to the new Scrambler. Having started the reading of this book, I warmly recommend it to the members of this forum. Particularly because it includes a 20 pages chapter concerning the TT1 and TT2 racers and because it also tells the story of the different participations of Sports Motorcycles to the Isle of Man TT races (first with Mike Hailwood and a few years later with Tony Rutter). I don't know if Pat Slinn (who provided many interesting photos for the making of this book) also acted as proofreader of some chapters, but I can testify that this book is a very informative reading. I got my copy in one week and at the lowest price from Abebooks. Gilles Lachance |
