I don't understand why they should do that : Ducati would bring the value of the original bikes down Buy a Sport, trim the sidecovers, fit Borrani 18",a disc at the rear and second front, tank and fairing and VOILA : le nouveau SS est arrivé . Just as fake as doing it with some new produced Ducati parts. Unless You begin tampering with the numbers on the frames and cases to get the most $$$ from your "investment". And then it turns into fraude. On the other side : Ducati is regenerating the interest in the old SS, being out of reach for everyone but the richer older public who use it twice a year. Maybe it's time to sell my replica SS ciao ducadini |

I doubt that the new generations buy these alleged replicas.. they are used to the bike do everything for them |
