Cranky's bike was the star of this mini Symposium. It was beautiful to look at, I mean crazy beautiful, but the sound of that thing was amazing! He will be racing this one next season I think. Cranky, picks? Lou

All right. Here are some pics of the bike. It is not the same bike I brought last year but a new build over last winter/spring. I did steal some parts from that other bike. This one has the wider and longer F1 swing arm and I didn’t worry so much about being original. The motor is a 780 with welded and ported heads and just 900 carb cams. Meant to be a track/race bike so it won’t stay this clean forever.

I have an ongoing wager with Pantahgod that I could get the bikes weight down under 300 lbs. (136 kg) with a starter and charging system. That devious Bill got me to weigh it with 2 gallons of gas on the official race scale at 313 so I think with some careful manipulation I can win this wager? Here is a Utube shot by Scott K.

Just found out the normal track photographer was not at this event, so I guess there will be no on track action shots.

We were treated to see some rare machines and reunited with the best of friends. Cranky's track bike sure looks like show. Lou brought real AMA BOTT racers of Jimmy Adamo and Dr. Dave Kieffer. Brian brought Freddie's actual Daytona 3-time winner ok not TT/F1 but interesting. Warren brought his real BOTT racer. Current racers Chris Jenson and Mike Dube flew the TT/F1 flag high.

It was all fun and games right up to the point of impact. Too bad some white bike rammed classic bikes for no good reason. All ok now just a banged up guy with a new winter project. Sorry photos sideways no matter what I did just. RP-844
