Hey guys,

I am new on the forum.
So i will introduce myself.

I am Henry Beekman from Holland.
And i have driven for the last 16 years Ducati (750ss,888(R.I.P), 748) .
These are still in my shed(888,748r, 2x 48sport and a TT2 project).

At this moment i am rebuilding the bike and I'm facing some problems with the frame and carburators/intake.

Does anyone have tips and tricks for these problems.

Any help is welcome.

Gr henry beekman

Hi Henry, the carb to frame clearance is always small. Are you running a reverse cylinder head on the 900? If you take a picture and post it up that will help those who built something similar to offer some assistance. BTW welcome on board, I like your stable. ;)

A real problem will be the lack of clearance at the vertical cam cog, unless you have a special TT frame designed for the big engines. The 900 engines are about 11 or 12 mm taller and longer at the cylinders. MikeV

Hi Henry,

Welcome from Holland too. I know there are special frames for newer engines and the Belgian Redfox reversed head for the ST2 kinda engines. It will be very helpfull when you can share some pictures to seewhere your issues are in sceezing it in.

Regards, Ron
