Glad the event went well Lou and Cranky. Pat is looking good. And, I know you might still have jet lag, but I look every day for a few more photos. Q: what was the most unique TT there? MikeV

Super meeting. Thanks to all involved.
Nice to talk to those with whom I've only exchanged messages previously.
Looking forward to the 2017 Symposium already , because TT2 s and F1 s are competition machines and belong on the track.

Hi Mike, Cranky is still in Holland. Most unique is a tough question. Part of the interest we all have in our TT's is how different they can be. Many 'big bore' TT's were in attendance with reverse heads and newly cast heads. I don't think I saw two exhausts the same. Now I know who is buying all the Campy replica wheels! Hand made tanks, bodywork, just an amazing amount of handmade pieces on these machines. Some beautiful original style replicas and some that were an individuals interpretation. I saw a beautiful rising rate TTf1 replica that was done nicely, and of course the original Willems TT2 was a beauty. The Walter Villa TT1 sounded like thunder! Just so much to see and so many great ideas my head is still spinning. I will enclose a picture of Olivier's tach bracket, I loved it. Lou

Beautiful event, many fantastic bikes.
Great to see so many TT's and F1's together.

Unfortunately couldn't get arranged having my own F1 there.

During the TT/F1 Cup and the demo I've taken several pictures from bikes on the track.
The numbers below I've on picture, so if you are interested, you can sent me a PM with your e-mail.
You might need some patience though before receiving them, as these days I'm very busy.

Demo. 56, 75, 87, 95, 143

TT/F1 cup: 21, 25, 27, 28, 61, 69, 72, 81, 87, 91, 92, 101, 114, 117, 118, 124, 167, 181, 239, 266, 270, 277, 479, 571, 666, 757.

The ex Willems TT2 has not been touched or fired up since it finished it's last race in 1986, it still had it's original Michelin tyres. The guy who owns the the bike was reputed to have turned down 100 grand in Euros, !, he did not need the money and he said that it would be worth even more next yrar !

Dear all,

My head still spins, it was quiet a change to get back on earth from the race planet. Met so many great people, saw so many fantastic bikes and agree with Lou no bike was the same. It was worth all the work we all put into it (and still working, now typing an article for the Ducati Club Magazine).

Added some pictures too.

Regards, Ron
