allow me to introduce myself. I´m Tom, located in bavaria and i have build a TT inspired single cylinder racing bike, based on a yamaha(sorry) SR500.
Fairing and seat are TT replica parts from KS Kunsttofftechnik in germany. Horst ( the owner of KS) has also build the TT inspired tank for us ( currently 3 of the bikes are built). All of this parts are made in CFK.
Frame is a lightened stock Yamahaframes only with some minor reinforcements. Fork is r6 2003. Brake is 320mm wtih PF08 d'oro and Vesrah sinter pads. Wheels are Technomagnesio WM2 and WM3. Tires are DUnlop KR´s(825 front , 124a rear). footrest are my own manufacturing and Exhaust including header is handformed from 0,7mm carbon steel by my swiss competitor ( #41). bike weights in a total of 112kg including oil no gas.
It is a blast to drive, very handy but no wobling or such bad properties. With this bike in the first event of the 2012 season i managed to finish 2nd and 1st, but chrashed it in the second event (http://www.grabtheflag.de) on 2nd in the last lap. So rebuilt is due.
