I found the picture of this seat in Rudi Wasner's site a few days ago (although strangely it is no longer there......) and would be interested in purchasing such an item. I suppose I COULD modify an existing seat, but why bother when some other ingenious soul has already done the hard work, and I can (hopefully) reward him for his efforts! As this pic is lifted from Rudi's site, I'm assuming that this bike is owned by a german rider, in any case I would be grateful for your help in locating this seat unit.

That looks like a later Harris seat, that came after the tiny TT seats they used to use on the 'kit' bikes. It has been modified a bit but I am pretty sure that's one of them. Certainly a bit more room for the backside. Good luck. Lou

This was originaly made for the Harris Magnum frame but will also fit the tt frame. The larger red version on the number 3 bike has not been cut back at all and is moulded to fit the rear section of the magnum chassis. They were used quite a lot here in the UK. I think I know who has the mould so will get back later. Glyn.

Thanks Lou and Cranky for your input! Y'know initially I was sceptical that this seat WAS indeed a Harris unit, however after cranking up the magnification on my original pic, I realised that you guys were dead right.....................!!! Obviously the builder of the bike in MY picture has modified the thing to make it more slabby, like the original TT item. Anyroadup, time to call the bodywork supplier, and get in a few cans of Polytuff......!!!

I've been corresponding with Ainsley Casson of the famous DOCGB, who sent me this image. Same chassis as mine,(except the forks) and it's running on Rock Oil ..........like mine Jim's got a fairing mould, but he's in Belgium just now, so I can't ask him if he's got a mould for the seat too.

Personally, I find it a bit wide after a beautifully waisted TT2 but it's stil nice to get your leg over
