Hi!

I am trying to follow my mates racing in Australia this weekend. The Silverfish lost a valve guide and racing is now over. Johnny who is the non-owner but co-pilot managed 20:th in the Unlimited Forgotten Era class. Hasse has a runner-up spot on the Blue Lunatic in the Unlimited Post Classics so far. Bothe were entered in the UK International Challenge team, but the bevels are standing still compared to 170hp FJ Yamahas.

Also trying to spot the belt Ducatis in the results. Englishman Richard Llewellin is known, but since that has the rear carb facing forwards it just dont reallycount, does it? There is an aussi called Ryan McLauchlan racing a 750 TT1 -83, and also a Colin Meredith on a 500 T2 -80 in the results. Can any of you aussies tell me more about them?

/Björn

So sorry to see that history is repeating itself

Especially on circuits where the 4s can exploit their full potential without being hindered by curves.

Hello Björn

There is nothing on TV or news here regarding the results.
Only what is on the internet.
Not much chance for a 750 Ducati against 1100cc plus bikes on a track like the island.

Hello bjorn, I spent a bit off time with Kent today(Sunday) silverfish broke. Blue lunatic going well. I seen hasse 3rd?and 4th? And down the field against the serious HP bike. Ryan McLaughlin on a TT1 replica got a 4th with a 1100 Suzuki and two 750 Tz’s out front. Philip Island really is a HP circuit. And hard on engines. Seen one serious blowup down main straight. Never seen so much smoke from one bike. Boucher.
