I am looking for a fuel tap for an original tt2 tank. It has a m18 x 1 not the normal m16 as used now
I know Honda used m18 back then but not dual feed. Any suggestions would be great
|

I think some Aermacchi's used that size. Werent the Honda ones for their small bikes....probably wont flow enough fuel.

Hi Paul I bought 1 of Carlos awhile ago and they are 16mm
The Honda ones are cb750 ,900, etc
Spoke with Ian Gowanloch yesterday and he said the Tt2 were the only ones that ran the 18 mm outlet. I will probably just make an adaptor for it and use Carlos tap
If there is one out there I would prefer to use it as it is an original tank

Hello Friends, I have replicated the large-scale faucets, I can tell you with certainty that the first large-scale faucets built, were designed and built by Moretti, he made the petrol taps for the NCR, I had the privilege of to have the prototype still kept by Moretti of the first tap still disassembled to make the subsequent copies.
The discourse of the 18mm thread, I have excluded this option, because the number of potential sales would have been very small, instead of making it 16, step 1 mm I could sell many more taps.
Moretti being a coach technician for the chassis, he used to go to Giorgio Nepoti and commission a racing engine block.
He also paid for parts he created, such as petrol taps, rear trestles, and the first front trestles that were fitted under the steering head.
Franco farnè, bought the first front stand in Mugello, Moretti has always been a volcano of ideas. Sorry for my english.

I bought one and the quality is good. They are 18mm out of the tap with a removable reducer to 16mm so it is exactly what is needed. Thanks Clay

Cool.....I had looked at those, but was looking for 16mm at the time. I don't think his advertisement mentions the 16mm option/reducer
