It is a genuine something... but I am not sure what? It seems it did race against the Ducati Factory bikes back in the day, but it was not using the same chassis, triple tree or wheels as any Ducati factory racer.

It has the "later style" Verlicchi chassis with a loop over the vertical cam - same as the Bob Brown development TT 851cc that is the sister bike to Alan Cathcart's BB racer from back in the day. Gregory Rathe has an F1 with the same chassis also.

So far these are the only 3 bikes I have pictures of with this chassis.

Bob Brown and his "development" 851. I asked Bob in 2014 what the chassis was... he said it is the "later style Verlicchi".
