I discovered an amazing paint if you want a black engine or covers. It is made by Mercury marine for refurbishing out drives. Really nice finish, easy to apply!! Really stands up to wear and tear. Available at your local Marine supply. Paul

Is this actually going to stand the test of time so to speak. The ones available in the UK have no mention in the product details as heat resistant or heat dispersant qualities.
