Don't feel bad Mike, I couldn't figure out what calipers he had until this morning, and it was right in the thread title. BTW, if you aren't too worried about period look, I can vouch that the Triple Nine version of those 4-pad calipers with Ferodo CP1 pads on iron rotors will give you some very serious stopping power. Hi Bill have a look at this one.I got these off a ducati paso site a while back.I havent made any of these so cant comment on accuracy,as i just bought some for my 300mm rotors from Ed. cheers Greg

Yeah I will probably just get busy and make a set up..... seems like we have a set of drawings to work from so should not be too much of a challenge. |

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but the above drawing should be reworked a little to give a machinist dimensions that would make it easier for them to work with. The hole locations in the plan view should come from a known straight reference line to the center of the holes in both directions. Bill |

I looked at that drawing, and I still do not think it will allow calipers to fit 320mm rotors, instead of 300mm, simply by flipping it. Yes, you can flip 300mm versions and fit calipers to 280mm discs. But, the caliper angle also changes ever so slightly each time you move up in disc size (the bottom, or back, of the caliper has to move out a bit so the angle from the center still points to the axle, you cannot simply move it up). Below is a photo of a similar-appearing bracket set that I had to redrill for 320mm discs; note how close the upper caliper hole is to the upper bracket hole! Maybe I am wrong.
