Does anyone have a set of these adaptors sitting about for sale, they are about all I am short of in chassis parts.

Hi Marc, I think you may be breaking new ground for caliper adapters here. Your other thread says the forks are 851, but I don't think that is the case. Two versions of M1R's were on early 851's. 1988 851's used the older school wheel with 280 rotors, and '89 and '90 used the later style wheel with 320 rotors (what you show). But, both 851 type sliders had the 40mm caliper mounting, just in different locations. Your photo shows sliders that would mount F08 calipers, earlier Paso perhaps. What calipers are you looking to mount? Bill |

I second Bill. There are 851 M1R legs that will bolt 40mm calipers right on 320mm rotors with 120mm width to C/L of rotors. But you might try Ed Milich because he makes some unique adapters now and then. Q: Is that a Milich top TC part? Don't know of a supplier for an adapter plate 108mm to 65mm. In the attachment are two different drawing of homemade Adapters. If you want the ACAD-file just wistle cheers, horst

thanks for the help, I also having the drawing off the internet as seems like they used them for Paso conversions, Louigimoto used to have them so will try them. But I have mill/drill so will make a set if there are is nothing available Mike what were the adaptors you used? Seems like there are a few Laverda ones that might do it. |

Hi there you can buy them off ed millich which are drilled for the fork spacing but the caliper spacing left blank to do your own holes.That might work for you.Or you could make your own for 17 inch wheels,750 paso forks,65mm spacing,320 mm disks.found this earlier

The problem with these is that they are designed for 280mm rotors. And, as the caliper moves up for a larger rotor it also moves out at a slightly different angle, to keep the caliper aimed at the center of the axle. Going from 280mm design to 320mm rotors might not be possible with this part. Still, giving Ed a call might find something different. MikeV The ones I used were for 300mm rotors, and I could barely get the correct angle to make them work as I moved the holes up. |

Cool I deal with Ed so I will ask him what is possible Just back working on the exhaust..... Ducati sport with 2010 CRF250 mufflers that were kicking round the shed, should look pretty decent. |

Gees! If I had only read the words on this schematic --- says for 65mm calipers and 320mm discs on Paso forks! Ed Milich sells something quite similar on eBay, for the smaller discs, and that led me astray! My apologies to Christian. MikeV |
