I want to buy some TT2 bodywork, but I have noticed that there are some differences in the upper cowls.

One diff. is where the tails (of the upper cowl) meet the lower cowl. It appears that the older/orig? ones are shorter at this point.

Second & more important to me is the recess for the handlebars on some is quite small, while on others it is a larger opening.

I would prefer the larger opening (allowing vertical movement of the clip-ons) plus the longer tails.

Can anyone shed some light on this, plus where can I buy ? (Prefer to buy in aust. if poss.)

Thanks to all, Peter

Sounds like you are mixing and matching (or switching) TT2s and TT1s, as many now do on the internet. As a general statement, the TT2s have the shorter uppers with 2 fasteners, and are rounded around the clipons; the TT1s have 3 fasteners, and are triangular-shaped around the clip-ons; windscreens for both are very different. The TT1s are probably wider in the area of the forks too. Make sure the bottoms match the tops. Now the experts can refine this. MikeV
