An old trick with the paint stripper to make it work better is to wrap the frame in glad wrap once the stripper has been applied. This keeps the fumes in & makes it more potent - a painter put me onto this so I did a comparison on some engine parts & it certainly improved the performance of the paint stripper.

Hi Clinton, I have heard this as well. It keeps the stripper from drying too rapidly so it stays potent. Lou

Hey Guys, just a few quick photos to show the progress on the Adamo bike. Thanks again to our Mike Vogt for the front Campy wheel. This is the only bike I have seen with 17 campys 3.5 and 5.5. I don't usually care for white wheels but these look period correct. Lou

Hey Lou, are those magnesium rocker covers, or are they just treated gold?

Dear Lou, I looked closely at your work, and I have to say that you're good, your project is succeeding very well.

I wanted to ask 2 questions:

The rod that pushes the rear brake pump is placed provisionally, I have seen a slight offset not aligned with the pump inside, with the risk that, working non-aligned prematurely from hitting the inner seal of the rear brake master cylinder.

This is not a criticism, it's just that I've noticed this particular, and something we gotta talk about this forum!

Then please let me know, the origin of the "Tee" located on the front of the chassis, the engine oil that branches off to the two heads.

Did you built it? Or is it a compression fittings in production on the market?

Attention Lou, because I'll keep an eye on!

Thanks again MikeV. No Clinon they are just painted. Ok Carlo, do you remember the Sakamoto painted discs? Same problem or dilema. This is exactly the way my friend Reno built it. Good, bad, or indifferent. I rebuilt the master, lubricated and cleaned everything and will probably add a return spring or rubberband to return the lever (which by the way are Cagiva 500 GP levers). Yes the alignment is not perfect but it does seem to function OK.There are numerous things on this bike that I will not get to, it was brought to me as basically a rolling chassis and a few boxes of parts. The parts that were on the chassis weren't even fitted properly. Wheel spacers, brake hanger, rotors and centers apart with rusty floating buttons. You get it . Thank goodness she should be ready for the event, at least to display. The oil lines, figure you would notice that Carlo. Yes it is a stacked -6 to -3 AN banjo. I drilled and tapped with crush washers. I have seen this done a bunch of different ways, machined fittings with the -3 lines from the cam covers bolted to the side of the fitting. If you look at some of Steve (loudbikes) oil cooler pictures he stacks the AN fittings on the cooler. OK on an F1 because the fairing gives you more room, but I don't know if it would work with a TT. Lou
