hello guys, who has ever seen this type of clutch cover, which is on a TT2 motor ( just found by a friend of me, with all spares around ;) )

The first time was on the first batch of the 20 83' TT2.... ( picture from Ian Falloon book)

Yes I have seen them, but it's whats on the inside that counts. Straight cut and lightened gears, polished and lightened basket. Did you guys find the whole assembly? Lou

Hi Dick,

Ye'a seen plenty like that. Here is a photo of my 1983 "factory" Magnesium cased, dry clutch motor. This motor in the hands or Tony Rutter is the fastest ever Ducati F2 around the Isle of man. There were five motors that were put together by the factory like this one. One is here in the UK, one in the USA one in Norway, one in Italy, where is the fifth ??.

I have one like Lou's photo. It also shows up in the vintage NCR catalog. I guess if you could not afford the jazzy dry version you could go cheap with this one. MikeV

Hi alls!

Here more pics of the TT2
It caught fire ten years ago an was sleeping since in a garden shed...

Image

It wears some good details such as Marvic magnesium wheels, Brembo radial master cylinder, Brembo Gold P08, racing footpeg, ...

All is to be restored, but all is present!
The GSX-R fork might be replaced with a 36 Paioli or magnesium Marzocchi (not a M1R witch is to big and anachronic on a TT2, I hate see that!)

The engine is like a lucky dip !
It has some sign of preparation as the clutch cover with oil cooler, but also banjo bolt in came cover, ...
Need to open to know more!

Nice project, I look forward to show you the next steps...

That's amazing!! It's a pretty bike even in it's present state. What's the story behind finding it?

It looks very good with mini seat and no side panel!

Wow, what a find! It will be a lot of work and time, but well worth the effort. I nice group of parts on that bike. I hope the engine is good too. MikeV
