Hi Folks Some advice please, I very seriously thinking of building myself a TT2 from scratch. I am used to and love Dukes as I own a 848 Dark, now I want a project. I have acquired nothing other than loads a enthusiasm. I accept that I am doing this 'arse about face', (sorry means the 'wrong way round' in Yorkshire). This will be a long term project. I do not have a big bank balance therefore will obtain bits as I can. Is there any advice of the best way of doing this and what to acquire or do first. Pete

I have a complete 600 sl with a full race engine, and very light 6 spoke race wheels, which I am re-building to sell on.For some-one wanting to build a TT2,it would make a perfect starting point as virtually everything is there, and there would be no big pull-out for a motor build as Paul K at DTS has already done it. Or could be re-built in the style of those ones they were making in Spain with the café racer look, which I thought of doing myself.Might be worth considering.

Hi Can anyone let me know of a website that I can view the ''re-built in the style of those ones they were making in Spain with the café racer look'' as per the above reply. i am looking at all my options before I part with my hard earned.

Thank You folks. They are gorgeous BUT way beyond my budget and capabilities. I will go for the TT. Just need a donor bike. I am going part time at work later this year, so I can spend my semi retirement doing this, (I can't stand the idea of golf) Missus is happy with it, because I will be out from under her feet. Cheers Pete
