Hi all,
I am still progressing very slowly with the TT1 build and have the engine in the rolling chassis so am moving on to the other exciting stuff :-)
I know this has been discussed before as I've read others mentioning AN fittings for the IPRA Paso cooler connections.
I assume people must have had success getting an oil tight joint using AN fittings?

It's just that when I measure the male connection on the cooler it seems to fit the spec for a 60 degree cone DIN 7631 M22 x 1.5mm thread pitch connection. (~21.85mm OD)
The DIN connection has the concave chamfer on the male part (like the cooler) and the convex chamfer on the female part.
Whereas the AN fittings are the other way round? - i.e. male convex.
So I'm confused as to how people have got these to work, in addition to the thread pitch difference with the AN10 fittings...

Any details would be gratefully received as it seems impossible to source the DIN 7631 fittings anyway!
Thanks a lot
Rob

Rob, this was my solution.
I machined an adapter to go from the oil cooler to a swivel -8 the to -6
It’s taller but works fine and the swivel gives lotsa choice for line location.
I will go back and find where I got the swivel from.

Thanks for the quick reply Paul.
That looks like a neat solution.
I was thinking afterwards that maybe a compression olive between the concave chamfers might work.
But I'll look at the fitting you used.
Cheers
Rob
