Going through the tech pages of the pantah site, I came across this pic (taken at a gathering a few years ago).
Does anyone know what effect this has on the flow ?
In a Honda CB125 S3 (partly made in Italy) they had a stainless blade AFTER the carburator in the intake manifold.
While "tuning" this bike, I removed it but although I only smoothed out the connections between manifold and head, the 'powerband' was gone.
After fitting the blade back in the manifold, the bike was again smooth as before.
So it had an effect, but since those things are already WAY past their date, can't find one to do it over again (fitting a bigger carb AND a Conti made me think it was a Desmo at 11000 :-)
ciao

Carb splitters are suppose to help off idle to mid throttle. principle described in pic.

I'm sorry for this, but I cannot resist:
Why stay at half throttle with a Pantah!
Ciao

Well Filippo,

WAY back in the 80's, buying a Michelin PZ2 could get you much more grip but there was a limit  opening the gas on the exit.

ciao

Hi Ducadini, of course I was just joking.
Full throttle with a Pantah, especially on street is a tough business.
Also with modern tyres.

Ciao
Filippo
