HI, Do you guyz intentionally fatten up the jetting on the rear cylinder of a pantah as standard practice. On a street bike is that worth while? I probably wont be riding it hard enough to make it glow in the dark. Meaning, front cylinder is jetted leaner than rear as a norm? Thanx, Clay |

Well, the Pantah and F1 manuals list differences. And they seem to be necessary. From as little as 3 (say 135/138 front/rear on smaller carbs in small engines) to 10 (say 165/175 on larger ones in big engines). But don't forget to go for the tan/gray/lavender (lean is mean) look on the insulator, rather than just making everything coal black like I have seen on sooooo many heads/plugs. I find the H head tends to run rich, so sometimes down-jetting that is a good answer. Oddly, the plugs/heads on my TT900SS with 40mm Dellortos are happy at 162 on both; that with the V exhaust out the back and the carb in the breeze. If I was not so lazy I would go to 160 on them.
