Others must know of some tasty options for fitment of an effective but diminutive rear rotor to a 5.5 Marvic equipped TT750 with Verlicchi alloy swingarm I hope? The Marvic is a 3-spoke type with the usual 80mm pilot and about 102mm x M8 (6x) bolt circle. Looks like I may need a rotor with at least 17mm or more offset but I can deal with offset variances of course. Hoping for something 245mm to 260 max. Don't terribly need a floater but do want a rear rotor I actually can use as needs be. This is a track bike.

Also hope to discover where I can find the rear master cyl. pivot actuator lever thingie hinged in the bottom of the original TT type pumps.

Hi Fran, I usually make the rear master brake pivot because most of the NCR ones I've seen look like billet aluminum as opposed to the one you show. I think I have seen both on original bikes. Just a piece of aluminum (3/8 inch) cut to the shape you have, a 10mm bronze bushing for the pin and a 5mm by.80 allen head adjusting screw, 6mm hole for the link and you are gold! Does Carlo not have the rotor you are looking for? If not I may have one. Hope this helps. Lou

Perfect. I can do that and it looks like fun. My eyesight isn't near what it was so these jobs are more of a strain these days but as you say, critical accuracy isn't much part of this particular bit.

I will check rear rotor offset by doing a mockup, 180 rear rubber as you know.

I say buy one of the correct 260mm rear rotors from Carlo. You will have it installed a week from now! Then you can spend the time on the master cylinder thingie. MikeV

If this thread still has legs can I ask for any suggestions for lighter-weight rear axle and disco freno posteriore assemblies to fit Verlicchi swingarms? Yes, we can make one-off Ti. axles but if you've ever gun-drilled 320mm of Titanium in your home workshop you can understand why alternatives appeal.

Yamaha XT600 type 3TB has one at the rear . weight is about 420 grams

Not certain about other fit requirements but the Pantah 650 solid axle protrudes 20+ mm or thereabouts depending on the washers stacked over those Verlicchi swingarms side plates. For me the XT 600 axle should work. Up here XT 600 is a snowmobile model so yet another challenge. I would like to reduce rearward overall weight and instead send it forwards by doing so. Modern track slicks have such grip that weight bias is important right along with all the other imperatives we wish we could keep in some meaningful perspective.

I read somewhere that one good track session is worth 10,000 internet posts on the subject.
