Can anyone help with the identification of these fork yokes? They are for 35mm forks and have 195mm spacings. They don't look like pantah yokes. Any ideas? Thanks Boucher.

Hello Chris and Eldert,
Yes they look like yellow single clamps but the yellow singles didn't have the 2 holes on the flat top section, only the 2 raised holes for the gauges.

Hello Boucher. Acceptable? Maybe not for a restored genuine TT2 or a strict replica; I believe those were marked Marzocchi, and had less offset (27mm or so?). Yours have a good workable width, fit your fork tubes, and look race-like (relatively plain); you will even have more room to move lock-to-lock in the pits! If they work, then they work (as Yogi Berra might say).

Besides, you can always go with these and if something better shows up then make a swap. Decent use sets are getting harder to find.

Eldert, do you know about those disc-brake singles did those use cup/cone stem bearings because those frames I think the stem is less long than might fit a TT2 headstock just as a guess. The '70s Duc singles are really nice things in their own right, of course.

I did look at the Morini set here and right you are, quite different.

Hello Fran, the late wide case Italian Ducati singles all used loose ball steering head bearings like a push bike, only the RT used tapered roller bearings.

Kind of thought so and it suggests different stem O/A lengths in the bargain. I acquired an RT frame years ago in some job-lot and was gobsmacked at the weight, little difference from a bevel frame. Felt some sympathy for the 450 RT engine.

The original TT2 clamps were MX dimensions, wonder are any of those on wider tube centres? Might offer options for TT2, TT1 builds retaining 25mm offset and conventional forksets.

???
