I received my Conti replica exhaust from Ian a few weeks back and finally got around to installing it (we just bought a new house and my garage is still not organized). I will miss the Verlicchi until I'm able to repair it, which will take some time and effort, but am happy to report that the the Conti did not strangle the F1's booming voice much, if at all. I still prefer the look of the Verlicchi but it will be nice to be able to ride the F1 without worrying about the baffle shooting out the end like a torpedo.
On another note, I made a new addition to the stable yesterday, and acquired a 92 900SS. My first Ducati was a 900SS, and I've always regretted selling it. I've been looking to replace it for years, and found an original owner example that I simply could not pass up. I hope I won't offend anyone by posting a photo of the F1's newest stable pony.
Ciao! -tj in los gatos
