I got it. The older cams with long duration present problems with valves being sunken [and shrouded] to get proper clearance. But, those with 13mm+ of lift present several other problems of installation on the older Pantah heads, and are rough on the valve train; they also seem to be designed for torque, at lower RPMs. So I guess you pick your poison and work with it.
