Does anyone on here know of a shop that sleeves worn slide hole i.d.'s on Dell'Orto's? I've got a pair of 38's off my R90s that I'm putting back on the road that have 120K miles on them - they're worn. You can get new slides easy enough, but not the body's. Thanks, Bill

you can buy cheap second-hand PHM sd ( for big rotax singles) and modify them....;that's what I did on my race F1, less than 200€ a pair

you can get the slides coated hpc style to make them a touch bigger. otherwise you'd need to get the carb bodies machined accurately to be round and smooth and then sleeve them.

I think I'm going to use a pair of TM38 flat slides that have just been laying around. Thanks for the suggestions. Bill

The TM's are great carbs, they will work well on the Beemer.

Got wind of a "new in box" matched set of R90S PHM 38's for sale, and ended up getting them. $640 shipped. Never handled such brand spanking new Dell'Orto's. Now what do I do? I was thinking the flat slides were pretty cool, but would have to tune them in from scratch. These would work just fine right away. One thing for sure, I'm only going to make one set of cables for the TZ throttle. Bill
