A year on from building our tt2,our original plans were scuppered due to unclear regs for the manx classic formula tt races. We stuck with our 600 tuned motor and finished with severe clutch slip,but placed 10th and 1st in it,s class. Regs now enable us to go to1000 cc air cooled twins. As it,s so difficult to obtain original or 650 motors,we will have to compromise.Can a later motor from a 92 750 ss,small pin swing arm be made to fit the verlicchi tt2 frame,working loosely around the regs,i have a pair of heads from a 500 pantah sitting in my shed.What problems arise and are parts available to run with 750 or over.I was so close to sorting last year but my work took me away and the trail turned cold. Any info in any way will be appreciated as lots of people, so I am told, really enjoyed seeing the little Pantah out on track. Thanks.

Hi I have 759 paso motor in a Harris frame it works ok if you have the head from a rear cab engine I think they can be made to fit,
I just kept the paso head and used a pair of phf36s
And I have a spare paso motor if you want one

The most direct route would be a 1989-1990 750 Sport motor. Same width engine lugs, same swingarm pin. Later models are wider, and have the smaller pin. Then you will still need to do significant work on the 500-650 heads since they will not fit directly on the 750cc 88mm barrels. The Paso is a can of worms around the swingarm, but can be (has been) done. MikeV
