Hi I have a standard paso master cyl with po8 calipers 280 mm ebc discs, need a bit more stoping power,
what calipers and M/C is the next step, preferably something I can get used as this is a budget bike.

Auburn,
As before, change brake pads. Cheapest fix. Are your brake lines braided?
Do you have a single line from M/C to junction then 2 lines from there? Convert them to 2 single lines from the M/C...
Good luck,
Steve

Hi Auburn,
I like good brakes. It sounds like you have new 280 rotors and pads, and as you probably want to keep those parts, I won't go into those. This is what else I would do if it was my bike:

Calipers: http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=20.5165.58 and http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=20.5165.68

Master Cylinder: http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=10.6870.10

Caliper Adapters: http://www.ducpower.com/ click on: "New Performance Parts" then "40mm Brembo 4 Piston Caliper Adapters"

The calipers should be available almost anywhere. The "996 style" master is a good one, I have one on my race TT and love it. I would always work with Ed Milich (Ducpower.com) and he may have all the parts you need. Use used brake parts at your own risk, at least know where they came from.
Bill
