 Post subject: PHF 36 pilot jet size ?

Hi I am running phf 36 on a 750 paso motor allmost the same as the F1 ?
4000 rpm upwards its fine below 3500 lumpy not a smooth pickup at all
I figure its weak I have 65 pilot jets in, what is in the F1 as a guide to where I need to go ?
All sugestions welcome. :?

PHF 36AD/AS, PHF 36MD/MS and PHM 40ND/NS have originally 65 idle jets installed.
My F1 runs with original jetting perfect.

I used 70/something an K6 (or 7) I can't remember exactly but I disconnected the pump arm. You could try removing the pump arms and see if its better down low.
It's about your problem rev area that the pumps are pumping, maybe it's too rich in that area? The pumps don't do much for how they go. (Mine are 40mm so they will be a little different)
