Hello Gents,
could anyone advise me what Surflex, Newfren or Barnett clutch plate kit part number is for a 600cc Pantah engine big basket clutch?
This is the bigger plate than the 500 and early 600 diameters of 125.0mm. I think it's 150.0mm outer diameter before the tangs.
I'm trying to source a kit making sure I have the correct part number. No supplier can tell me which is the bigger plate kit since they don't have them instock.
Please help.

edit: I should add that the plates are 8 friction plates, 8 steel/aluminium plates, 1 friction plate single sided & 1 conical plate.

Thanks,
Steve

:P Yes Brad.
I also should have clarified that this for our non dry clutch counterparts!

I'm compiling a list of part numbers of at least 3 manufacturers that I know of.
They are in no particular order;
1. Surflex
2. Newfren
3. Barnett

I have sourced a Newfren compatible clutch pack for my project.

The Pantah big basket clutch is the same as noted in Mick Walker's V Twin restoration book with Ducati part numbers. But, in this day & age, they don't mean much to suppliers.
Suffice to say, it is also used on 750 F1 1st series, 650 Alazzura, 400 supersports... Some others I will confirm.
Cheers,
Steve

OK,
part numbers are as follows;

Newfren: F.1588AC - The AC is both discs of organic fibre & steel discs in the kit.

Surflex: S 1815 - In olio
They recommended another number, but I'm convinced it's for the steel version hub being S 1609. They could be right to....

Barnett: T.B.A.

Hope this helps...
Cheers,
Steve
