First M1R forks that function comparable to cartridge forks I've ever experienced, this is a rather remarkable achievement by my reckoning. Those M1R kit are evocative and appropriate for parading, etc. but beyond that, well, ...ahem.

Steve Munro sent me out on his recently completed TT1 (far too pretty to thrash) Sunday at the Calabogie circuit where his version of M1Rs worked beautifully, everywhere. This statement to hopefully encourage our Steve to spill the details on what is going on inside them sliders, inquiring minds must learn the way forward.

My solution was uprated Showa cartridge forks from a J/K Gixxer but I ride trackdays not concourse.

Steve's forks look correct and work flawlessly.

What's up with that, Steve?

Post up some pics from the day, too.

Cheers,

Fran

Don't know what Steve did to his, but Rick at Cogent Dynamics does an M1R cartridge conversion. He's good.
