Well it's been a while as I play Australian Rules football during the winter here in Oz, so my weekends are normally full, however the season is now over for us, so I had time to get the frame, fairings etc to the painter. Frame and wheels came back today so I can start the build. Frame bits are all gloss and the wheels are satin (75% gloss). Looks amazing in the flesh. I quickly bolted the frame on, so ignore the mess. Attachment:

First day building it up. Pretty happy with how it is going. I start the wiring harness next, so that should be a challenge... Attachment:

Well it is very true that the last 10% takes 90% of the time. Over the past two months I've been fairly busy doing other things, and whilst it may not look like it the bike is now 98% finished. Main wiring harness is complete (and works), battery tray done, exhausts mounted, mounting brackets completed, rearsets and linkages done, gauge mounted and mostly wired. Just waiting on panels to return so I can do the final fit, and complete the Speedo wiring. Attachment:

Looks good!
What speedo are you using? I fitted 696 wheels to mine and there is no room for the cable operated speedo drive, I'll have to find a digital one that fits the dash.

Hi Graeme, I am using the motogadget chrono classic, which has the large tacho with digital Speedo, however they make Speedo's in the same size. Attachment:
