Cryptic-R-Us title notwithstanding, please indulge my picture posts of a cush carrier I made 30 years ago to adapt a Campag/Tecnomagnesio 18 x 3.5 TZ wheel to serve more than 15 years of race use.

These pics of the duplicate show the reinforced hydraulic hose with alu sleeve sprocket bolt locs. Material is a stable magnesium electron.

Well, they're big lumps, actually but since it is magnesium I felt a bit extra was cheap insurance with little weight disadvantage. Thing is, those few dampener sleeves made enough shock absorption to suffer no gearbox woes at all.

Hey Fran, nice clean, practical design. I need to make one for a Marvic I have, thanks for sharing. The magnesium makes a big difference Fran. Did you have any kind of finish on it? Lou
