My stash of reusable OEM rubber frame tie straps finally ran out about a year ago (accumulated from breaking down older Supersports and Sports, etc) and I've been mooching what I could get from friends at Ducati dealers for the past year and keeping track of the various part numbers (when I could get them) as I went along. I finally found the right part number for the size most commonly used on our bikes.. It's 74110131A - sold in bags of two at your local dealer for $2.99. Ideal for tying wires, etc to most of the frame tubes and pretty durable.
Steve,I would rethink those carb vents. If you have a float stick,it'll fill the engine rather than piss on the ground.Does look a lot neater though. My friend Peter says those straps are just like the ones used on old MV,Gilera,Duc singles if you punch holes in them. Bill
