I have a fine spline transmission from a paso, what do I need to do the install into a set of allazurra cases?
Having a real hard time with output shaft shimming!
Thanks Paul

Is the schaft too wide, too narrow or are the gears out of line?
Did you use all the paso parts?

Thanks Jarno,
I am using all the paso parts, the problem is the gear closest to the clutch hits the webbing in the cases, or the retainer that locks the bearing in place.
With the first and last gear removed I can shimm the shaft.

Hmmm, I will check a pantah case with a Paso shaft when I get into the shop one of these days. Or maybe somebody else knows what can be done.
I remember that I had some tight space on the clutch shaft too, but that was with paso cases with 750SS shafts

Hi Paul,

the Allazzura and Pantah cases are identical, as far as I know. Have a look here:

http://pantah-ig.de/index2.html

then go to:

Technikseite

and then to:

Getriebeumbau

text is in German, but there are some pictures showing the necessity to remove some material of the cases. In the described conversion, the internals of a Monster were used.

Regards

Wolf

Klasse Wolf!

I am one of many wanting to fit fine-spline gearbox parts into his Pantah cases!!!
Now - with help from the site PantahIG - we can do it hopefully without tears ;) ;) ;)
